NEW DELHI, September 9: The sixth annual Johnie Walker International Club Championship will begin here with the tee-off taking place at the Delhi Golf Club on September 17 and 18.

For the first time in the championship’s history, the South Asia International finals will be held in India.

The local club selection rounds for the regional finals were held in 75 clubs where about 3500 golfers participated. The regional finals have been divided into four rounds, which will be held in the northern, southern, eastern and western zones.

The Nepal final will be held in Kathmandu on September 11 while the Lanka finals will be held in Colombo on Oct 3. The finalists from Lanka and Nepal will join the India regional finals winning teams to compete for the Johnie Walker International Club champion title, which will be held in India on Oct 15 and 16.
