India will host China in the Asia-Oceania Group I first round tie of the Davis Cup team tennis competition on March 4-6, 2005.
The winners will take on either Uzbekistan or Indonesia in the second round from April 29 to May 1. India failed to make it to the world group playoff this year after losing to Japan for the first time in the 70 years of the competition.
