The Kanglei Yawol Kanna Lup (KYKL) today claimed responsibility for the November 8 explosion in Thangal Bazar in Imphal with an apology to the victims, saying that it had erred in finding the target.

The attack, apparently intended at a shop, left two people dead and 20 injured. The blast, the statement said, was targetted to Aman Enterprises ‘‘to teach a lesson to outsiders doing businesses in Manipur on consequences for defying ‘Kanglei law’’’.
