UP CM Mayawati asked the Centre and Rajasthan Govt to work on a "middle path" to find a solution.

.

Appealing to the Gujjar community to conduct their agitation in a peaceful manner, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati asked the Centre and Rajasthan government to work on a “middle path” to find a solution to their problems.

“The Central and the state governments should discuss the matter and adopt a middle path to find a solution to the demands of the Gujjars,” she told a press conference in Lucknow.

She said the agitation in Rajasthan was “fast spreading” to other parts of the country and it may lead to a law and order problem.

Mayawati also appealed to the Gujjars in Uttar Pradesh to put the demands of the community in a peaceful manner.
