CHANDIGARH, April 9: With the World Cup cricket to be played in England a month away the cricket fever has already gripped the crazy Indian fans who are getting apprehensive about their dream team. To cash upon that event a card manufacturing company has come up a novel idea to motivate members of the the national team with a wide variety of `Good Luck’ cards, which are available in the market in here.
One has to just buy the card of his favourite star and put on the postage on the envelope, which is addressed to the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) at Mumbai. The cards with wishes for Sachin are selling the most. “Every one is crazy about Sachin,”said one of the shopkeepers in the city.
These good luck greetings range between Rs 10 to 14. This series cover wishes to the members of the Indian cricket team who would vying for top honours in the forthcoming World Cup.
“Let your wrists do the trick…. and bring victory to the country,” is printed on one of the card, which is for Indian skipper Mohammad Azharuddin.
On another card which is for Sachin says — Master Blaster — Assault them, Crack them, Hit them, Impress them, Nag them and Triumph.
