CHANDIGARH, FEBRUARY 14: Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) bagged two gold medals on the opening day of the National Judo Championships here on Monday. Babita Negi beat O’Riza Chanu of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) in the women’s 78 kg category and Satish Yadav outclassed Sasanath Yadav, also of CRPF, in the men’s 100 kg category to give the paramilitary team the first day’s honours.
Punjab also won two golds, with Parwinder Kaur beating Jagjit Kaur in the women’s 70 kg category and Pawan Kumar beat Pradeep Kumar of CRPF in the men’s 90 kg category.
