CHANDIGARH, Sept 17: About 400 eminent gastrointestinal surgeons from India and abroad will participate in the National Conference of Indian Association of Surgical Gastroenterology being held at PGI from September 18 to 20, Dr S M Bose, organising secretary of the conference, told a press conference here today.
Specialists of medical gastroenterology and radiology will also speak during the conference. The new techniques of surgery involving radiotherapy, chemotherapy will be discussed and the papers will be presented on the recent researches by the scientists and surgeons in this field.
