FARIDKOT, Dec 3: At least five persons were reportedly killed and two others injured seriously in a head-on collision between a jeep and a truck at Berwala village on Muktsar road, about 10 km from here, last evening.
According to Kotkapura police, the jeep was on its way to Kotkapura while the truck was en route to Muktsar. All the deceased and injured were travelling in the jeep. Those killed include Haqan Singh, Gurdev Singh, Surewala, Banta Singh, Hardial Singh and Hoshiar Singh of Malout. The injured have been shifted to DMC, Ludhiana.
