PUNE, April 26: Kailash Anant Ade (29) of Golibar Maidan has been arrested by Samartha police on charges of duping a shop keeper ofRs 4,000 under the garb of reducing the amount he was to pay toward his electricity bill.
Police said Ade approached shop keeper G H Aggarwal at his residence in Bhavani Peth and claimed that he was a MSEB staffer on January 28. He accepted the money from Agarwal and handed over a receipt on which the signature of MSEB’s Assistant Accountant was forged, they added.
