CHANDIGARH, April 18: Prof Shashanka Mohan Bose of the Post-Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER) has been selected for the prestigious B C Roy Award by the Medical Council of India.

He has been selected in the eminent medical teacher category by the managing committee of the B C Roy National Award Fund.

Prof Bose has been working with the Department of Surgery at PGI for the past 34 years.
