BANGALORE, July 16: Dr Shivanand, a surgeon attached to the City’s Minto Eye Hospital, was killed on the spot, and his daughter Shursti, an actress, and his wife were among those who were injured when the car in which they were travelling collided with a lorry near Ramnagara on Sunday night. Dr Shivanand and his family were returning after the shooting of "Suggi", a Kannada film, when the mishap occurred. The driver of the car and the actress’ assistant were the others who were injured.
