Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan, recuperating in Lilavati Hospital following an intestinal problem, is feeling better and a decision on his discharge may be taken tomorrow, hospital authorities said today.
The actor’s condition had improved steadily during the last fortnight after undergoing surgery on November 30 and a team of doctors was likely to take a decision on his discharge tomorrow, hospital spokesperson said.
Bachchan, recovering from diverticulitis of the small intestine, for which he was operated upon, is recuperating at the hospital in suburban Bandra and has overcome the problem, the spokesperson said.
Even after Bachchan is discharged, dietary restrictions will continue for some more days, hospital sources said.
Amitabh’s wife Jaya and son Abhishek today visited the Siddhivinayak Ganesh temple at Prabhadevi in Central Mumbai where they offered prayers for amitabh’s well being and early recovery.
