CHANDIGARH, April 16: The Federation of Chandigarh Traders, at its meeting held here today, unanimously decided merge with the Chandigarh Beopar Mandal.
Announcing the merger decision, the president and general secretary of the federation Rajinder Manocha and Jagdish Kalra in a joint statement said that the unit was dissolved in the interest of the unity of traders.

Last year, the FOCT was formed following the removal of Rajinder Manocha from the Beopar Mandal who had opposed the candidature of R. L. Batra as its president.
