CHENNAI, Oct 1: The Chennai Corporation has cleared a Rs 45.41 crore project to set up subways in 10 places in the city, construction for which will begin in January. This is apart from the flyover projects cleard earlier. The move to go ahead with subways is part of the Corporations plan to handle traffic congestion in the city.
