PUNE, FEBRUARY 4: Chairman of National team selection committee and former Test player Chandu Borde lost elections for the vice-chairman’s post of the Maharashtra Cricket Association (MCA).
While all other office-bearers were elected unopposed, election was for only one post, which Borde lost to Santosh Gokhal by nine votes to five. Brde’s name was proposed by MCA chairman Dyaneshwar Agashe.
