BANGALORE, Oct 1: Karnataka Major Irrigation Minister KN Nage Gowda today said that Karnataka “would not implement” the draft scheme framed by the Centre for implementing the interim award of the Cauvery Water Disputes Tribunal if it was sought to be imposed on the State and found to be impracticable.He said, “the state is not subordinate to the Centre. We have our own rights with regard to our water resources. The Centre cannot impose the draft scheme on us.”
