CHANDIGARH, July 23: Opposition Deputy House Leader of Canada Gurmant Singh, MP, today called on Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal and discussed the scope of investment in different sectors in the state.
He mentioned various fields in which the Punjabis settled in Canada were keen to invest in Punjab. He assured Badal to motivate the Canadian entrepreneurs to contribute in infrastructure development in the field of industry, roads, education and health. The CM said the Punjabis living in Canada could also contribute for projects being taken up as part of tricentenary celebrations of the birth of the Khalsa.
