US President George Bush on Friday set a four-year goal of seeing a Palestinian state established and he and British PM Tony Blair vowed to mobilise international support to help make it happen now that Arafat is dead. ‘‘I’d like to see it done in four years,’’ Bush said. Nephew renews poisoning doubts
ANKARA: Nasser Al-Qidwa, Arafat’s nephew and Palestinian representative at the United Nations, told the daily Vatan that Arafat’s health problem was ‘‘such a complicated condition that a diagnosis was not possible’’.

LOS ANGELES: CBS News has fired the producer responsible for interrupting the last five minutes of hit crime drama CSI: NY with a special report on the death of Arafat, a network source said on Friday. ‘‘An overly aggressive producer jumped the gun with a report that should have been offered to local stations for their late news. We sincerely regret the error,’’ the network said in a statement on Thursday.
