The BSF gifted a bucket of traditional Indian sweets to its Pakistani counterpart at joint checkpost on the international Indo-Pak Attari border in Attari on Friday.

BSF Deputy Inspector General Mohammad Aquil handed over the Independence Day gift to Pakistan Rangers Brigadier Mohammad Qasir Khan Tareen at Attari checkpost, official sources said.

The exchange of gifts between the forces of the two neighbouring nations is part of a longstanding tradition to mark their respective anniversaries of Independence Day.
