May 26: Most parts of the city were engulfed in darkness today evening following incessant power failures. The western and the central suburbs were affected the most and Express Newsline received scores of calls to know the reason of the black-out.
The reason, however, was not known as all offices of the BSES were closed. The control rooms also could not ascertain the reason.
