After the successful heart surgery on Noor Fatima at a Bangalore hospital, another heart patient from Pakistan will take the Dosti bus for India on Wednesday, reports Dawn from Sialkot.

The parents of eight-year-old Junaid Khalid claim an Indian doctor has offered free-of-cost surgery on their son.

Speaking at their residence, Junaid’s father Khalid Mahmood, a tailor, and mother Farzana said their son has been suffering from cardiac disease since birth. A local cardiologist had advised them to take the child to India for heart surgery.

The couple said they contacted Dr Rajesh Verma, who examined Junaid’s reports and offered free surgery.
