PUNE, Oct 23: Thirty-five engineering student officers of the College of Military Engineering (CME) were awarded B Tech degree from the Jawaharlal Nehru University at the hands of Dr Snehalata Deshmukh, Vice Chancellor of Bombay University.

Out of the thirty-five student officers, 17 belonged to electrical engineering stream and 18 to civil engineering stream, including one from Nepal Army. Lt Gen Ashok Puri, commandant, CME, welcomed the dignitaries. Captain Rajeev Kaul bagged the gold medal in civil engineering stream, whereas Capt Sudhir Thakur bagged the gold medal in the electrical engineering stream.
