NEW DELHI, October 24: Indians spent another miserable day at the Dubai Creek Golf and Yacht Club, slipping further in the third round. It was Gaurav Ghei who gave the Indians some respectability with a one under for the second consecutive day, but was sharing the 14th position with four others in the $250,000 Dubai Creek Open, today.

Australian Adrian Percy, lying third in the second round, shot into the lead with a six under 66 for a two-stroke lead over compatriot Scott Laycock and South Africa’s Des Terblanche.

If Ghei was struggling to stay with the leaders with a total of five under 211, Vivek Bhandari and Arjun Singh were in deeper trouble, lying joint 21st. But the most disappointing performance came from Jeev Milkha Singh has slumped to the joint 43rd with another poor round of one over for an aggregate of par 216.
