NEW DELHI, DECEMBER 3: Three staffers of The Indian Express have been awarded the prestigious Chevening Scholarship by the British Council, according to a release on Friday.
Sixteen persons were selected for the programme out of the 34 shortlisted candidates. The scholarship is given to professionals in various fields for a three-month study program in the Westminister University of London.

The three recipients were senior reporter Sandeep Unnithan, principal correspondent Ashish Sharma and copy editor Sonia Trikha. They will be leaving for London for the course which commences from March 13 and goes on till June 2.
