CHENNAI, June 26: A five-year-old girl and a 60-year-old woman were charred to death in a fire that broke out in a slum at Balaji Nagar near Pallikaranai, a suburb, destroying 250 huts on Friday evening. The deceased have been identified as Anu Pirya and Nagammal.
