CHANDIGARH, Oct 28: Two unidentified youths, astride a black Enfield motorcycle without number plate, snatched away a gold chain from around the neck of a Sector 23 resident, riding pillion behind her husband, outside the Sector 17 bus stand on Tuesday night.
While the culprits managed to escape, the City police have registered a case under Sections 379 and 356 of the IPC on the complaint lodged by the woman’s husband, Rajiv Vasudeva. Further investigations are on, the police added.
