When it comes to keeping it casual yet glamorous, Shilpa Shetty is one of the few Bollywood actors who have always managed to impress us. While she has mastered the art of elegantly tying up saris to accessorising the six yards with belts, the fashionista has managed to bowl us over with her occasional contemporary numbers as well.

This is one such time, when Shetty donned a chic plaid outfit at the announcement of the Mumbai Fest. We like her stark white top with balloon sleeves from Shanghai Tang, which she paired with a classy Zara plaid skirt with rose embroidery. See pics.

One might think of it as a shot in the dark but it seems teaming up her contemporary outfit with ethnic shoes seems to have worked out for the actor. The red heels in a traditional tone from Miu Miu did not look odd, rather added an interesting element to the actor’s look.

Shetty has been known to play up fusion fashion to the hilt and this time too she hit the mark. We can totally steal this look, which is a great winter fashion inspiration for sure.

The actor toted a casual grey sling bag, which contrasted with the stark white of her top nicely. Golden bracelets and pearl earrings kept the attire toned down and sophisticated. Minimal make-up, nude lips and soft curls rounded out her look well.
