When Nita Ambani borrowed daughter Isha’s heart-shaped diamond engagement ring

The sangeet saw many Bollywood stars dressed to the nines, celebrating with the Ambani family. Even Justin Beiber was flown down to perform at the event.

Nita’s statement jewellery for the ceremony included a custom rose-cut diamond necklace, earrings, matha patti, and a striking heart-shaped diamond ring. This particular ring held a special significance – it belongs to Isha, who had previously worn it to Manish Malhotra’s Diwali party last year. Isha had paired the ring with a beautiful pink and ivory sequined sari, adding a touch of elegance with a leafy patterned pallu.

For those who don’t know, this diamond is Isha’s engagement ring gifted to her by her husband Anand Piramal. In a recent interview with Vogue India, the billionaire heiress revealed this is one of her “most prized possessions.” “I will have to give it to my husband,” Isha told the magazine, “he really thought about it.”

This is not the first time Nita is borrowing Isha’s jewellery. At the NMACC’s one-year anniversary celebration, she opted for a traditional red patola sari with a geometric design. Soft makeup, a bindi, and a bun hairstyle complemented the desi look. However, the highlight was her exquisite Meenakari necklace, featuring intricate designs and green stone drops.
