While white was the most popular colour of the night, sapphire blue came a close second and plunging necklines kept eyes firmly fixed on perfect decolletes, it was old-world Hollywood glamour that ruled the roost. From Lady Gaga’s Monroe-esque turn in a black Atelier Versace gown to Cate Blanchett in an ombre fringed Givenchy Haute Couture number and a faux bob that only rivalled Amber Heard’s stylish hair-do, the vintage vibe was hard to ignore.
