Mira Kapoor reminisces about a vacation in the hills: ‘Never too old to be pampered by your parents’

Mira Kapoor never ceases to amaze with her Instagram feed, whether it is her time off with husband and actor Shahid Kapur or her own Ayurveda-led lifestyle, or some glimpses from her vacations. In fact, driving the wanderlust in us, she posted a few snippets from her vacation in the hills in Mussoorie’s Landour in Uttarakhand.

“I’ve taken some time off Instagram – well I’ve been on it, posting stories here and there, but I just wanted a break from the pressure of posting. Not like anybody is expecting a post, but one gets into a cycle of feeling the need to keep posting about what’s going on in life on social media.. At least I did, and I thought I’d enjoy the summer without that pressure. Whenever I felt like it I would go ahead, but there was no compulsion. And it felt amazing,” expressed Mira, who is a mother of two.

Adding that “now I’m back with the Insta-bug again”, she shared a glimpse of the trip “I took with my family to the Hills”. “Everything about it brought back our summers as kids. And no matter what age you are, you’re never too old to be pampered by your parents. So sandwiched between generations, this was #SummerStories2023 in Landour,” she mentioned.

She added, “Treks, unending breakfast, late night chats with my sister (my brother-in-law was surprised we were still chatting three hours after he left us), and hugs from Mom and Dad.”

Netizens were quick to point out how beautiful is the place. “Landour is so beautiful and calm…perfect for an escape from the city life,” shared one user, while another said, “Landour is such a beautiful place. Looks like Rokeby manor!”. Yet another mentioned, “How amazing!”

This is not the first time that Mira has wowed us with her simple yet beautiful time off with family.
