In a world that moves fast, some homes feel like they’ve pressed pause. Actor Raveena Tandon’s farmhouse in Maharashtra is one of them. It’s peaceful, full of character, and quietly luxurious.

Recently, filmmaker Farah Khan gave viewers a closer look at Raveena’s weekend retreat in a video on her YouTube channel — and the place feels like a warm hug.

Tucked away among papaya trees, with bicycles leaned casually by the front, the home has a lived-in feel. A statue of Buddha greets you at the entrance, surrounded by soft candlelight. Just beyond, a huge swimming pool blends seamlessly with the earthy tones of the house and the surrounding greenery.

The living room is big and open, with high ceilings and two stunning antique chandeliers hanging above — the kind you’d expect in an old Indian haveli. There’s a lovely brick wall that adds warmth and charm, and shelves lined with little Indian treasures like pottery, figurines, and old vases.

The seating area is relaxed yet rich — soft sofas covered in maroon and green floral fabric and cushions with delicate embroidery. The space is bathed in natural light from arched glass windows, framed in dark wood. Those arches? They’re inspired by traditional Indian designs.

One of the most touching parts of the tour is when Raveena shows off her dining table, telling Farah, “This is a 60-year-old dining table,” and sharing that it belonged to her husband Anil Thadani’s family.

Right beside it is a wall filled with family photos — all in different frames, some old, some new — capturing memories and milestones.

There’s also a sports room where the family hangs out. A sleek table tennis setup takes centre stage, and there’s a foosball table too.

Then there’s the kitchen, which balances modern convenience with old-school warmth. The colour palette is soft and earthy — creamy cupboards, warm wooden counters, and a large central island that pulls everything together. Small details, like hand-painted ceramic jars and traditional mud pots, add that unmistakable Indian touch.
