TNPSC 2024 Group 4 Recruitment: Online applications for 6,244 vacancies begin

The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TN PSC) has started the registration for 6,244 group-4 vacancies. The tnpsc.gov.in is hosting the Tamil Nadu PSC application form online. The last date to register for the group-4 vacancies is February 28. The date of the TNPSC exam is June 9, 2024.

Candidates can exercise the option of being considered for the posts of forest guard, forest guard with driving licence, forest watcher and forest watcher (tribal youth) in the Tamil Nadu Forest Department included in Tamil Nadu Forest Subordinate Service, included in the notification.

Candidates desiring to apply for the group-4 post will also be required to have adequate knowledge of the Tamil language.

TNPSC Group-4 Recruitment: Eligibility

The minimum general educational qualification means, a pass in the Secondary School.

Leaving Certificate (SSLC) Examination with eligibility for admission to college course of studies in the Universities in Tamil Nadu, or a pass in the Secondary School Leaving Certificate Examination of Tamil Nadu.

– Submit the application form and download it.

TNPSC Group-4 Recruitment: Exam pattern

The test will comprise of two parts. While part A will be Tamil eligibility scoring test and will be held for 150 marks, part B of the answer sheets will be evaluated only if the candidate secures minimum qualifying marks of 40 per cent (that is 60 marks) in Part A.

Total marks secured in Part-A and Part-B taken together will be considered for ranking. The questions in part-A Tamil Eligibility-cum-Scoring Test will be set in Tamil only. The questions in Part B will be set both in Tamil and English.
