Uttar Pradesh Vande Bharat train, Varanasi to Khajuraho Vande Bharat train: Indian Railways (IR) is set to launch a new Vande Bharat Express train between Varanasi and Khajuraho. This new semi-high-speed train will further enhance the connectivity between two distances and improve the passenger experience. This new orange and grey coloured train is likely to be flagged off by Prime Minister Narendra Modi this week.
The Varanasi to Khajuraho Vande Bharat Express will run as train number 26422/26421. The train will cover a distance of 443 km in 07:40 hrs. This will be the fastest train on the route. The primary maintenance of this train will be carried out at Varanasi.

The much-awaited Varanasi to Khajuraho Vande Bharat train is set to be launched on Sunday, November 8. Speaking to Indianexpress.com, a senior railway official has confirmed the development. “Varanasi to Khajuraho Vande Bharat train will be launched on November 8,” the official said.
The Varanasi to Khajuraho Vande Bharat train will be running with eight coaches. However, the train will have two types of seating arrangements: 7 air-conditioned chair car coaches and 1 executive air-conditioned chair car coach.
The Varanasi to Khajuraho Vande Bharat Express will be the eighth such train from Varanasi. Currently, the total number of Vande Bharat trains originating and passing through Varanasi are seven.
The Varanasi to Khajuraho Vande Bharat Express train will cover the entire distance in less than eight hours.
