Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha Saturday described the 2025-26 Union Budget as the Narendra Modi-led government’s blueprint for Viksit Bharat.
Lone Tripura Rajya Sabha MP Rajib Bhattacharjee also praised the budget. He wrote, “I want to thank Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The Viksit Bharat, Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikash which he is talking about has been highlighted in the budget placed by Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman. The budget was prepared for all sections of people including farmers, poor, middle-class. PM Modi is saying about 2047 Viksit Bharat Sankalpa. The similar thing is scripted in the budget.”
Former Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb, too, welcomed the Union Budget and said it reflected the interests of people from all walks of society. He also termed the proposed budget as a “roadmap” of empowerment for the poor, youths, farmers, and women.
“The world has seen a new and strong Bharat in the last 10 years. This budget will further strengthen India’s role in the global economy. Provisions for full tax exemption up to Rs 12 lakh annual income, simplification of the taxation system through an amendment that’s expected to be tabled in the Parliament next week, relief to the elderly through TDS, etc would provide relief to the middle class and lower-middle-class families,” Deb said in his message.
