“The second train is being manufactured and will possibly be ready by October 15, 2025. Both the trains will be launched together. Once we get it, we will decide any route and start operations,” Vaishnaw said, reports PTI.

According to railway officials, the first rake of the Vande Bharat Sleeper, unveiled by Vaishnaw in September 2024, has already reached Delhi’s Shakur Basti Coaching Depot after completing the required trials and testing, and is now ready for induction.
