Kolkata The Kolkata Police on Friday called Lalit Jha’s elder brother Shambhu Jha to their Lalbazar headquarters and questioned him for some time.

Police teams also visited both Burrabazar and Baguiati and recorded statements of local residents.

The police also recorded the statement from Lalit’s NGO partner based in Halisahar in North 24 Parganas, with whom he had shared a video of the Parliament security breach, officials said.

A Delhi Police team is also scheduled to visit the city for investigation, it is learnt.

Speaking to mediapersons, Shambhu Jha said, “I do not know that he went to Delhi. I knew that my parents were going to our ancestral village and Lalit went to drop them. That much I knew.”
