India is awaiting the results of the Lok Sabha elections on Tuesday to see who will form the government at the Centre. The election results feature various high-profile candidates who are battling it out for a seat at the Centre. The National Democratic Alliance (NDA) led by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi is eyeing a third consecutive term at the Centre. On the other hand is the INDIA bloc including the Congress and several other non-BJP parties.

Notably, polling for the 2024 general elections, covering 543 parliamentary constituencies, started on April 19, 2024, and was followed by the second phase of voting on April 26, 2024; third on May 7, 2024; fourth on May 13, 2024; fifth on May 20, 2024; sixth on May 25, 2024, and the last phase concluded on June 1, 2024.
