Steve Coll is an American journalist, author and the current Dean of Columbia School of Journalism. Two-time Pulitzer winner, Coll has worked with The Washington Post as a feature writer, financial correspondent and even served as the Post’s South Asia bureau chief from New Delhi. Currently, he writes for The New Yorker magazine and reports on foreign intelligence and national security. Coll has also authored several books, “Ghost Wars” being the most notable.

In the event jointly organised by Columbia Global Centers | South Asia, Columbia Journalism School, Columbia Alumni Association, Caravan Magazine and The Indian Express, Coll will discuss the future and emerging frontiers of journalism with Anant Goenka, Wholetime Director & Head – New Media, Indian Express.
