Noted historian R S Sharma passes away

Sharma was undergoing treatment for various ailments at a private hospital where he breathed his last yesterday,they said.

Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has expressed grief at the demise of the renowned historian and said that Sharma will be remembered for his academic achievement.

Kumar also announced a state funeral for the departed historian to be held later today in the state capital at Bansghat on the embankment of river Ganga.
