The delegation will be led by Bhim Singh Khata according to Gujjar leader Kirori Singh Bainsla.

Four officials – Principal Secretary Home and Urban Development G S Sandhu,Bharatpur Divisional Commissioner Rajeshwar Singh,Bharatpur District Collector Krishna Kunal and Pali District Collector Neeraj K.Pawan would hold talks on behalf of the government, officials said.

This will be the second round of talks between the two sides. The first round of talks was held at Pilukapura, the epicentre of the agitation in Bharatpur district, with state Energy Minister Jitendra Singh on Sunday.

Gujjars have been blocking rail tracks and roads for the past ten days in support of their demand for five per cent reservation in government jobs.

“As far as the talks are concerned,I am all out to cooperate but whatever our people want will be done. I understand that people are suffering but the government should find a concrete way for a permanent solution to the problem in order to avoid this situation,” Bainsla told reporters at Pilukapura.
