Firing at vehicle,Bihar MLA escapes unhurt

BJP MLA Prem Ranjan Patel escaped unhurt when unidentified men fired at his vehicle near Medhni Chowk of Bihar's Lakhisarai district.

Ruling BJP MLA Prem Ranjan Patel escaped unhurt when unidentified men fired at his vehicle near Medhni Chowk of Bihar’s Lakhisarai district late last night,the police said.

Six men,lying in wait for the vehicle,fired several rounds as the MLA was returning from Bidi Bazar to Medhni chowk in the car after attending a social function,they said.

The legislator remained unscathed in the shootout.
