The Congress today decided not to field any candidate in upcoming Panchayat polls in Uttar Pradesh.
We have decided not to field any candidate for the Panchayat elections, UP Congress chief Rita Bahuguna Joshi said in a letter to all district presidents.
Any party activist willing to enter the fray would have to contest on its own,she said.
The party would not support anyone in the polls,the letter said.
