At least 23 people were killed and 50 others injured when a bus carrying a marriage party plunged into a river in Madhogarh area of the Jalaun district in UP on Wednesday.

The accident took place when the bus was going to Rudrapur in Jalaun from Muraina district of Madhya Pradesh,Superintendent of Police Prem Gautam said. Three passengers were yet to be traced,he said.
