With party’s senior leaders behind bars,INLD to bank on Devi Lal’s achievements

With its top leadership behind bars on charges of corruption,the Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) has now decided to bank on its founder leader Chaudhary Devi Lal.

With its top leadership behind bars on charges of corruption,the Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) has now decided to bank on its founder leader Chaudhary Devi Lal.

The youth wing of INLD,Indian National Students Organisation (INSO),will start a public awareness campaign called ‘Jan Chetna Yatra’ from October 5.

The two-month-long campaign will begin from Kurukshetra,led by Chautala clan’s fourth generation leader — Digvijay Singh Chautala.

“During this yatra,the INSO members will go to all the major villages of Haryana as well as to the educational institutions and spread awareness about the major events in Devi Lal’s life. The party has decided to celebrate the 100th birth anniversary of Devi Lal as golden century year,” the INLD mentioned in a statement released today.

The party claims that the yatra will cover states’ colleges,universities and educational institutions during day time (from 9 am to 2 pm) and during evening hours,it will cover villages and spread awareness about achievements of Devi Lal.

“The yatra will conclude on December 2 in Rohtak with a students’ rally,in which youths will pledge to donate their eyes,” the party announced.

In addition,the INLD will also launch a public awareness campaign from October 3,that will be headed by Dushyant Chautala. During this campaign the INLD leaders and workers will make people aware about the alleged scams committed by the Congress leaders in Haryana and other parts of the country.
