With death toll rising to 2,200, after the severe earthquake in Nepal on 25 April, the quake had impacted several buildings in the capital trapping scores of people.

The United States Geological Survey has reported that the earthquake of magnitude 7.9 on Richter scale, was centered around 35km in east of Lamjung.

Apart from this the quake was felt in many Indian cities, including Delhi.
