Union Minister Rajyavardhan Rathore today said that people negotiating with agitating FTII students have given up due to “extremely hardline” stand taken by students.

“We want to resolve it. We have not been harsh with the students at all. We have been extremely liberal with the students,” Rathore told reporters at a press conference here.

“Unfortunately the students have taken an extremely hardline stand. We are ready to resolve all issues. We have had multiple talks with them,” he said.
