All the three convicts in the Park Street gangrape case were sentenced to 10 years’ rigorous imprisonment by a Sessions Court Friday, more than three years after a 37-year-old mother of two was sexually assaulted in a moving car here. The victim, Suzette Jordan, died of encephalitis in March this year.

Additional sessions judge Chiranjib Bhattacharya sentenced Ruman Khan, Naser Khan and Sumit Bajaj to 10 years’ rigorous imprisonment and Rs 1 lakh fine each, a day after they were convicted of gangrape.
