NRI man critical after suicide bid

He was rushed to AIIMS Trauma Centre where his condition is said to be critical.

A 30-year-old non-resident Indian was critically injured after he allegedly tried to commit suicide by jumping off the fourth floor of his residence in south Delhi,police said.

The incident took place around 6.30 AM,when Mark Raymond Home jumped off the fourth floor of his residence at 406 Sarvodaya Apartments in Malviya Nagar,they said.

According to the police,a failed relationship might be behind his suicide attempt.

He was rushed to AIIMS Trauma Centre where his condition is said to be critical.

A British citizen,Home is presently staying in Australia. He had come to India to meet his father,David Home. His father owns a marketing company and stays in Egypt for the most part of the year,the police said.

David was supposed to come to Delhi a week ago.
