Nutritionists and members from eminent industry associations such as Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition (GAIN) and The Aseptic Food Processing and Packaging Industry Association of India (AFPPA),gathered to revisit and discuss the daily nutritional value of milk.
Experts shared opinions on the value proposition that milk brings to all human bodies that have an incredible ability to keep in balance if given the right nutrition on a daily basis.
The seminar saw significant discussions take place on milk and nutritional issues related to it. Popular opinions that came through delved into topics such as vitality of human body,bone strength,protecting teeth and blood pressure and even weight balance.
Milk for everyone children,young people,adults and the elderly,was a key topic that resonated in all discussions at the seminar. Emphasizing on this,Dharini Krishnan,IDA President said,Milk plays an important role in the diet of growing children,pregnant and lactating women. Milk is a gift of nature,a nutritious product which is rich in calcium and protein.
Jaideep Gokhale,Director- Environment and Communications for South Asia Markets,Tetra Pak India said,Tetra Paks commitment together with all our partners is to make food safe and available everywhere.
President of Delhi Chapter- IDA,Anuja Agarwala stated It is difficult to find a completely satisfactory replacement for milk,one which is equally convenient and has so many nourishing and appetizing alternative uses.
