Man kills friend,suspected him of having relations with his sister

With the arrest of an accomplice on Monday,Punjab Police claim to have solved the murder of a man whose body was found in a well on March 11 in the farm of Mansoor Deva village resident Amarjit Singh,in Ferozepur.

With the arrest of an accomplice on Monday,Punjab Police claim to have solved the murder of a man whose body was found in a well on March 11 in the farm of Mansoor Deva village resident Amarjit Singh,in Ferozepur.

As per the arrested,Harjinder Singh,Amarjit suspected his friend,Pradeep,of having an illicit relation with his sister and allegedly hatched a conspiracy to murder him.

Interestingly,after murdering Pradeep with the help of Harjinder,Amarjit was later arrested on charges of possessing a stolen car and an illegal weapon.

Pradeeps body was identified on March 17 after his brother Sukhwinder Singh came forward to the police stating that his brother had been missing for over one month. The body was identified through shoes and clothes as the body itself was in a late stage of decomposition.
